On New Year I went to Egypt on a Cruise visiting Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan, Abu Simbel and El Cairo, this is a trimmed version of my video montage since it lasts approx. an hour. Cruising down the Nile is the quickest way to see all that Egpyt has to offer you, breataking landscapes and amazing rest of the Egytptian Civilization.

People sometime ask me what are my favourite apps and what do I use to keep productive.
To all those people here is a list of my most used apps on Mac.
Screenshot of my Desktop right now. I have only two folders on my desktop: Work and University Projects. The only time my Desktop is cluttered is when I have an active project that then gets beamed in to a folder and archived.
Let’s start from the left discarding all the default applications:
Things: Task managment for Mac. This is the first App I usually open in the morning, it helps keeping my work focused on only the “things” I have to do during the day so that I won’t be distracted by other errands and projects. This is a must for Mac users, plus it syncs with your Iphone!

Billings: Invoicing and Time Billing App. It’s my latest discovery. It helps you organize your invoices and estimates sending them to your clients with neat and well designed templates(plus you can create one by your own as I did).

Evernote: I use this program to save ideas and instant inspirations, it syncs with Iphone and Windows, I don’t use it very often, but when I use it it’s very handy.
FocusBooster: Since I tend to work all day on projects until they are finished, I need a little help by this little app which alerts me using the Pomodoro technique when to have a break, have a walk around the desk, drink a coffea and get back to work. Yes, I’m a workaholic…
Ommwriter: I don’t write a lot, but when I do I need to be as focused as possible. Ommwriter is the Zen Garden of writing. Distractionless and appealing.
Adobe Creative Suite: Do I really need to write something about it? If yes I think you are reading the wrong blog…
FinalCut Pro: My video editing software. It’s always been love and hate beetween us two, but we have learnt to cope with each other to go on.
Camera Control Pro 2: It gives me complete control of my Camera Remotly, very useful in studio when I need bigger LiveView screen.
Modul8: I use this program to do Live vj sets, very quick and easy to learn.
Ableton Live: What I use to create loops and random minimal music, plus It is great for Dj sets.
Eclipse: my Java Development tool
TextMate, Coda & CssEdit: I use mainly TextMate to write code and Coda to edit Css along with CssEdit, my highly reccomandation for web developers.
Adium: my Istant message software. Msn, facebook, Gtalk all in one.
Transmit and Speed Download: ftp and download manager, still choosing between the two also if Speed Download is taking the lead.
1Password: Helps me store and organize all my passwords in a secure way. Integrates with safari for quick registrations process and quick logins. It even synchronizes with the Iphone.
Socialite: probably my most used app of them all after Photoshop and After Effects. It gathers in one neat and organized app all my Rss feeds, Twitter and Facebook messages & Flickr Stream with easy acces, editing, and reading. A must have!

Just a random test of the Nikon D300s D-movie mode in low light enviroment.
I have opened a Iphone Blog.

Photos taken only by Iphone with selected Apps.
